Hi Thom,
thanks for asking about ideas for Fujinet articles for the ABBUC magazine.
For the upcoming magazine 153 we have two new FujiNet programms written by Michael Goroll (API interface to a KI engine, Tool to display the external visible IP Address of the Fujinet)
Here is my (private) list of ideas for the Fujinet. Please feel free to pick from the ideas, just give me a heads up when you starting working on one, so that we don't do duplicate work.
- Accessing ABBUC RSS Feed via FujiNet - a simple RSS reader in Basic
- Accessing Gopher from Fujinet - a simple Gopher Client
- Accessing Gemini/Mercury pages through Fujinet - a simple Mercury page reader for the ABBUC Gemini pages
- Developing for the Atari from within CP/M on the Fujinet (CP/M 6502 assembler, "makeatr" on CP/M
- Implementing a SIO (Atari side) BDOS (CP/M side) communication channel for data interchange - having programms run on the FujiNet (CP/M) and Atari and having an communication channel between them
- Telnet into Atari - expose the Atari screen editor (E:) via Telnet to the WLAN
- HTTP Browser using FrogFind.com
We coordinate the magazine team using an online tool called "Basecamp" (https://basecamp.com). If you like I'll join you with the team on Basecamp, there you will have access to the magazine plans, discussions and todo lists (Basecamp works via Web or via E-Mail)
Greetings
Carsten
